As a slave to the Photon, I for one welcome our Daylight Savings overlords.
More light for me! And as I live north of the 49th (15kms - big deal), I relish the idea of dusk shots after 10pm.

You sure about that? Last time I checked, during summer, we get more hours of daylight. Gear: Kodak Brownie and homemade pin-hole cameras. Burlap sack for a bag.

Well yeah, but what does that have to do with DST? cosworth wrote in post #5080778 Well duh. Are you up at 3:30 am for the sunrise? No. Of course it shifts the day forward. Not normally up for the sunrise no matter what time it comes. So it doesn't make a difference if I set the alarm for 3:30 or 4:30, still have to get up early. And if the sun sets at 8:30 or 9:30 I see it either way. I just hate getting used to the time change. 7D MKII ■ 10-22 ■ 15-85 ■ 28-135 ■ Σ 50-150 ■ 70-200 f4L ■ 100-400L ■ 580EX II

No. Of course it shifts the day forward. Unfortunately, yes I AM up for the sunrise. In fact, I am at work long before the sunrise. And yes, I can take a break, go up to the roof of the building I work in, and watch it come up over the mountains. Some people hunt with a gun. I use a Canon.

Only in the middle of the summer do I get to see a bit of a glow to the sky in the morning. Tom
