I've been looking into film but never really got the chance. How's this body?

It has that eye focus doesn't it? Good/bad?

Worth it for $50?

The A2e has eye focus feature. The A2 does not. The "e" denotes eye focus. Simple enough.
I have the A2e. The eye focus is a "neat" feature and accurate 99% of the time. People either love it or hate it. I believe there are threads on this already.

My last 2 film cameras were the A2 and the 1n. I loved the A2 as my first autofocus camera upgade coming from the A1. It was so quiet and reliable. Wow - didn't know it could be bought for only $50.00.

Eos 5 is nice. The A2's metering is crippled somewhat in M mode.

I went from A2E to 10D and never went back to film. The A2E was a very capable camera but came with a flaw that was hard (and expensive) to avoid. The control dial has a release button with a spring loaded ball detent that goes bad. I believe it is about a $150 repair job. Ask about the control dial and pass if it seem loose or wonky.
