I've been looking into film but never really got the chance. How's this body?
It has that eye focus doesn't it? Good/bad?
Worth it for $50?

More info | My last 2 film cameras were the A2 and the 1n. I loved the A2 as my first autofocus camera upgade coming from the A1. It was so quiet and reliable. Wow - didn't know it could be bought for only $50.00. My students ask, "Where's that bazooka lens?"

The A2E was a very capable camera but came with a flaw that was hard (and expensive) to avoid. The control dial has a release button with a spring loaded ball detent that goes bad. I believe it is about a $150 repair job. Ask about the control dial and pass if it seem loose or wonky. Bernie
