I would really advise against this. If you are shooting this for a genuine project or purpose gain access in a legal way.

Approach the foreman or the construction company and explain what you are doing. Most people will be happy to help. What happens if you have an accident on the site and you or worse someone else gets inured?

Stuff like this just gives photographers a bad name.

A few C notes will get you the VIP tour just about anywhere.

Model releases are needed for commercial use of photos; news-gathering doesn't fall under the same category and that's the umbrella paparazzi generally use. Also, many of the publications they supply include line items in their budgets for lawsuits, and are betting that the subjects would rather let the photos sink into oblivion than drag the matter out and advertise the rag by suing.

So, you want to create fake identification and trespass onto private property? I had no idea the law could be suspended if you want to get cool photos. We have plenty of threads where people are complaining about the way cops treat photographers and now I see perhaps the cops have a reason

Excellent point... And trying to sneak in anywhere is a good way to get arrested for trespassing with all it's attendant hassles. We'll come visit you in jail...

Could get some amazing shots though! Ill have to see whether its worth the jail time! :) haha

Just to put everyone's mind at easy, i wasn't going to make fake id's and use them to get me in, i was planning on just using a disguise like a fluorescent jacket to see where this could take me.

Impersonating someone with official credentials is still a bad idea. You are going into areas that are potentially unsafe (construction sites, hospitals) and your total lack of knowledge of the safety rules could seriously endanger others. Personally, I don't care if irresponsible people manage to hurt themselves, but I do care about others who do belong there and who might be harmed by your actions or lack of actions.

Not only would you need to look the part but act it. Going with your complete disregard for others safety you would not be able to act the part.

As I said if you are wanting the images for a serious project then contact the required people and gain access safely and legally.

Most importantly I suggest you grow up before considering taking such action. No wonder photographers get a bad name with immature behavior and suggestions like this.
