Mass pipe and drums are something to behold/listen to. my son has a drum kit and practices mostly rock beats, although he has just started taking an interest on Jazz. His school has 3 Big Bands and he wants to be part of one of them. He's in two of the Concert bands already but I think he like the more upbeat Big Bands. I often see/hear our Police Pipe band practising in town. They always practice in ANZAC square which is surrounded by buildings, adding to the acoustics. Greg

We go to the Highland games in Gresham just to hear the pipe bands. We arrive early in the morning and sit in the covered bleachers directly in front of the area where the bands stop to play. When they compete, the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band from Burnaby B.C. is always amazing.

Great shots, Didier. Honest. Interesting captures of historic areas. You really get to go to some cool spots. poppie guy wrote in post #5163757 We go to the Highland games in Gresham just to hear the pipe bands. I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.
