In Microeconomics class today we started watching a video about Wal-Mart.... I hated them before the video, now I hate them even more!

I wouldn't necessarily base your feelings off of such a flexible and editable medium of film :D

I think I will hold off for a day or two before installing 2.0....being released on April Fool's makes me wonder....hehehe

 Yea, I am going to wait till I get home... I don't know if I want to do it yet because I will want to use it for everyday editing and that isn't a good idea, usually, with beta stuff :).

They said it will install along side 1.3 so you can have both.

I think I might wait a while...

But then again, I don't see much in LR2.0 that I neccessarily need (apart from it not needlessly producing PSD files all the time). For targeted adjustments, I use CS3, and I don't keyword my images like I should do.

I had a junior high science teacher...that was a vegetarian...she made us sit through countless manipulated slaughterhouse movies trying to impose her evil vegan will on young impressionable minds...the school board wasn't really impressed. ;) Then again, they were even less impressed when they found out she had appeared in Playboy while in college.

Where do PSD files fit in? I've never seen one in relation to LR...just .jpeg and .tif

When I edit my RAW files in LR, it exports as a PSD and opens that PSD in photoshop.

I guess you have yours set to TIF

Ask me if I miss my 5D....

And I'll answer with a firm "No"

Through double glazing, ISO800, no processing at all.

It's lost a smidge of contrast, but that's it.

Hate is such a strong word.

Okay.... "extremely dislike"

Give me a little credit for being able to discern propaganda from truth...
It was a DVD of a PBS Frontline episode - both sides interview, both sides explained their positions - letting the viewer make up their own mind....

Crap... beta for LR is out... I was hoping they would wait a while longer before coming out with 2.0 but I guess aperture has pushed them over... I guess I ought to start saving for a new LR in a while... Looks like August is when they are planning on bringing out the new version... Get out there try the beta and give them feedback :)

I've had nothing but bad luck with Adobe's betas... I think I'll wait until the official 2.0 release is out and I see what the upgrade price is going to be.
