Inspiring.....

The Domke Serenade
There's a song in the air,
But the fair senorita
doesn't seem to care
for the song in the air.
So I'll sing to the little donkey
if you're sure she won't think that
I am just a fool
serenading a domke.

Amigo mio, does she not have a dainty bray?
She listens carefully to each little tune you play.
La bella Senorita?
Si, si, mi muchachito,
She's love to sing it too if only she knew the way.
But try as she may,
in her voice there's a flaw!
And all that the lady can say
is "E-E-AW!"
Senorita domkesita, not so fleet as a mosquito,
but so sweet like my Chiquita,
you're the one for me.

There's a light in her eye,
Tho' she may try to hide it,
She cannot deny,
there's a light in her eye.
Oh! the charm of her smile
so beguiled Don Diego
that he rode a mile
for the charm of her smile.

Chorus II

Amigo mio, is she listening to my song?
No, no, mi muchachito, how can you be so wrong?
La bella Senorita?
Si, Si, la senorita,
She's love to sing it too if only she knew the way.
Her face is a dream
like an angel I saw!
But all that my darling can scream
is: "E-E-AW!"
Senorita domkesita, not so fleet as a mosquito,
but so sweet like my Chiquita,
you're the one for me.
Ole!

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Okay, here's the deal. It gets easier. Then it gets harder. Then it gets easier. And sometimes it's not any kind of fun. All this keeps on repeating itself until you finally figure out that your purpose in life is to make her happy and then proceed to do just that. Pray that you find one who knows what she wants and that she speaks it clearly.:lol::lol:

The thing that repeats itself forever is this.... it NEVER gets cheaper.

Have fun.;)

I was considering the IS version but since I shoot sports I'm putting the money towards a 1.4x TC and two AB800's for basketball. Now I just need to decide between the canon 1.4x or the tamron 1.4x pro.

The Canon 1.4X would be the best complement to the Canon lens.

just checking in :) I went to pioneer town today...it was fun to photograph (there were NO tourists there...it was like a ghost town) and spent a little bit of time familiarizing myself with Joshua Tree NP. Fun day. My MIL took me to dinner at Applebee's. She was tired of dieting. YAY

I need some advice from those of you who've shot the desert...I'm failing in capturing the scope of the whole thing. I looked at my shots today and was thoroughly unimpressed...there are lots of wildflowers but unless I do a close up of the flower it looks like a boring landscape...I want to be able to capture the beauty of the flowers against the tough desert...in a landscape, not a close up. Got any suggestions?

this is what I'm talking about...this was one of my better shots (not processed) from today...but the wildflowers are tiny and the area is vast. How do I make it look better.
