he sat there for 42 photos...not on high speed...just sat there and let me walk towards him. I had the 300 F4 on...no tc's. I got pretty close.

Guess we need a desert here on the eastern half of Oregon...dang hummers here must land and sleep somewhere...but they never do it in view of people...

They act different here too than up in Oregon. There they zoom in and get their food and then zoom up to the trees and sit for a bit...never let you get close. Here, I've seen two that let me walk up to them and they just turn their head and look at me like "whoa, look what the cat drug out" :)
