that's a good try DDA.

Keep at it, you will get some really cool shots once you are used to it.

I like the bee and blossoms. It looks like you'll be having fun with that combo this summer.

It was my first day practicing with this combo, so I have good hopes.

As you all know, I took a cooking class in Tuscany with my sisters. I sent a thank-you note and some photos to Select Italy with whom I had booked the class. They asked me if they could use my photos on the website and this morning I found them all posted!! Even the large photo of Chef Leo was taken by moi!!! :) :)

Thanks Queen Meany Head. You need to be nice to me. I just paid $1405 (aka almost an 85L) to Uncle Sam. I'm still hurting. In fact, I am typing this from under my desk.

 Ouch!

Wow!! That is very impressive, Maureen, AND it looks like you had a lot of fun.

We attended a birthday party at the Culinary Academy in San Francisco several years ago, and the guests all participated in the preparation of the meal. Lois and I were on the Creme Brulet team. I've always enjoyed cooking, and would love to get some proper training someday.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Oh, and I now got plenty of colour in my hair. She bleached the under layer so I looked almost blonde in certain areas, then she mixed three colours; red, red/purple and pin(!). the left side looks VERY colourful right now, the right side is more hidden with the black hair. But it all depends how I want to comb the hair.

No, they didn't want me (and anyway, I'm only doing 2 weeks although I could have managed 3..) So I'm going with my brother. I can't wait to be there ;-)a

I've always thought it would be fun to take some cooking classes, too. Sounds like a hoot.
