I've been wanting to get some time in with the new 724IS, but the rain seems to anticipate my spare time. Yesterday I opened the bedroom window and saw this little guy hurrying along the fence. I asked him to stop and pose, but he said it was too miserable out to slow up for the likes of me.:)

Yes, spring here as well! Krokus, blue sky and sunshine today. But a bit chilly.

I survived the travel fair, but sleepy. I'm overtired right now. Gonna go for an After Work thing now, so will see how long I'll be out and about. Have my camera with me actually.

That's another great shot! :) And yes I'm very happy with the 100 macro :) and it's sharp... very sharp.

I think people should stop saying how great it is for portrait work though... it's way too sharp for that... the 85 1.8 (which is quite sharp as well) does portraits much better I would say.

I agree with you re: macros for portraits. unless you do some serious pp work they are way to sharp. They will work for sure but they aren't the most flattering.

Mooooo Wool. Mother Nature teased us with the idea of spring a few days ago, but we're back to cold miserable rain again. Nice flahr!

Us too... We had 80's earlier in the week, now we're hovering in the 60's.
