Or the Coronado islands South of San Diego.... Talk about a navigational black hole. I actually had to use the sextant to get a nav fix back in the 80's because we had no way of telling how close we were to Mexican waters. By the time we got LORAN back, we found out we were only a 1/4 NM off.

Yeah, I gloated.

....... I plead the fifth..........

Yep. Should get some up tomorrow if the weather does as promised (warm and sunny today, sposed to rain some tomorrow) lotsa flahrs at the Botanical Gardens (they had an orchids bit going on) and the first of the cherry blossoms outside the Hirshorn. Also a duck (maybe Riley got more than one; he was checking out the pool outside the Capitol as I headed for Union Station).

Yea, I got some other ducks .

Just got back from the night shoot on the national mall. I am tired and have to get packed for tomorrow.

Now that I have at least a little more of a clue about what I'm doing than the last time I was there, I'd love to go back and shoot around there at night.

yeah, but it seems like their nav gear could use an upgrade, I mean, the middle of an asteroid field? That's bad planning right there. I volunteer :)

don't you mean the AF isn't working. that's a common problem on the mk3's isn't it.

I think it was released last night. There are some apparent Mac fixes -- I haven't bothered to install it yet.

There's a thread around here somewhere that Victoria participated in with a few more details.

It went well. I had a lot of fun, the national botanic garden, is really neat.

WU!

I picked up some CS3 books...one very simple one and a few more technical ones...so that I won't be stumbling around forever with this.
