Hi Everyone,
Went shooting yesterday and only liked 1 image (just goes to show, I have a long road ahead of me). Anyhow, if you could please tell me your honest opinion on this sad little mailbox, I would greatly appreciate it. :) What did I do right, what did I do wrong and how could I do better next time?

Thanks all!

Looks like ya did a wee bit of shooting with something other than your camera first! Nice find.

Oh yeah, and don't forget... I had to take a baseball bat to it a few times as well. Ha, ha!

Thanks for commenting! :D

So you really got to vent! I'm sure that someone will find some technical details to pick on...but I like it as it is...tells the story.

I'm actually working on a series of mailboxes myself...I'd like to see the original photo.

Little elbow grease and bondo and that mailbox will be good as new.

Nice pic

I like the pic and the processing however what ever is on the right hand side is quite distracting. Perhaps work it from a different angle next time?

Thank you everyone for your comments. :)

Woolburr - Thanks so much!
61ache - Yes, you're quite right... just a little TLC and you'll never notice those bullet holes! Ha, ha - thanks!
Woodsj6 - It wasn't too pretty in color, so I thought a conversion would spice it up a bit.
Mr. Clean - It's snow, but I definitely see it as a distraction too now that you pointed it out! I'll have to keep a better watch on that next time! :D

Thanks again all!
