I think I can answer my own question as to whether or not I spend too much time looking at images here.

I was walking down an isle in a store the other day and happened to pass by some nice photo frames. I didn't actually stop to look, but in a glancing pass by them I noticed a pretty nice sample image. I didn't stop, but in that moment, looking as I pass.. In my head I was right clicking on the damn thing semi-thinking, "what was that shot at ?".

I thought to myself, WHOA BUDDY. That sorta thinkin just ain't right. Pull yourself together man

Anyway.. So that has happened to me a couple of times lately. Right clicking for exif so often that when I see something nice hanging on a wall I almost instinctively wanna right click... scary and funny all at once I suppose..lol

Someone please tell me this has happened to you! oH My sANitY!!!!

;)

I try and view things through the viewfinder in my mind. Much better than worrying about settings.

Do you watch TV and wonder where almost every damn was filmed at? Or driving down any street and go damn I wish I had my camera or I need to come back to that for some shots?

I've pulled u-turns just to go back and shoot on the side of the road.

I can't even watch TV or movies these days without being aware of the exposure or noticing the (surpising amout of) flare. Flare never used to bother me FFS! :p

That's funny:)

Yesterday I was at what's called the Saturday Market in Portland, OR -- an arts/crafts/food/music thing that runs from March through Christmas. I went there to look for photo ops rather than to shop, loaded with camera gear, but I kept experiencing an awkward moment that I have experienced many times before, wanting to stop at any of the many photographers' booths and check out the pics, talk photography, disrupt his/her business, be a pest...but I just walk on looking for the next photo op...

I'm the same. I see a photo I like and start to reverse engineer it.

The settings don't matter to me anymore tho (care factor zero). I'm more interested in lighting. How many lights, where, ratios, accessories, etc.
