This camera is becoming more difficult to strip the further I go. It feels like something is holding on to the parts from the inside. [50D][Canon 70-200 f4L][Canon 17-55 2.8IS][Canon 100L macro]

It was more work than I thought it would be. Now I know why cameras are so expensive, it is not the cost of the spares but the cost of all the labour putting all those small pieces together. Here you can see the flash unit, image sensor, two of the glas (plastic) elements, the speaker that makes the shutter sound and the zoom motor. And then I must mention that I was rudely misled by fellow POTNers. THERE IS NO MONKEY IN THE CAMERA.[50D][Canon 70-200 f4L][Canon 17-55 2.8IS][Canon 100L macro]

It is cdifoto who started the monkey business. You either have a monkey in your camera or you are the monkey. In my case there is no monkey in the camera. I think she thought you had a chimp on your shoulder. I did not start this monkey business, I was told that there was a monkey, and I called dibs. SOMEONE OWES ME A MONKEY! {Brooke}
