hi all

i have a canon eos400D with couple of lenses, i have been offerd a canon eos 20D with four lenses....

1. EF-S 17-85 IS USM ( incl petel hood)
2. EF 28-135mm IS USM Boxed
3. EF 70-210 f3.5 USM ( none IS)
all the above are canon

Sigma 18-50mm f3.5/5.6 DC boxed as new with hood


all the above for 550quid do you think its a good deal i am not to botheard about the boady but i like the lenses. i dont know nothing about the 20D, do you think lenses alone are worth 550?

Great deal, the 20D is a much better camera than the 400D too.

its a friend of my boss at work he has just bought the 5D with L glass he says i can have it for £550 to save him the hassle of ringing around camera shops he wont use ebay as i suggested to him, but what advantage has the 20D got over the 400D i mean image qualtity wise ?

It's questionable whether 20D iso3200 is really usable.

You can't be serious. Of course it's usable. Expose properly and it looks great.

But you pay for this.

I have an XTi, and love it. The D20 is a great camera though. Only reason I didn't buy it was because I wanted a brand new body. ISO 3200 looked great to me in the tests I saw...

Ghastly...

20D = $465 used
1D Mark III = $4000 used

3200 is very useful on the 20D and it's about $3500 cheaper

NOT to mention, the build and feel of the xxD series cameras are MUCH better than the Rebel series cameras...much more solid feel
