Greetings to all,
I just bought a Canon IXUS 70 (a.k.a. SD1000) for my wife (it's her birthday present you see). And I found out one thing. I've read the manual a couple of times but I can't seem to get this kind of shot with it. What I want is to take a picture of my bunny rabbit but I don't want to use flash. I tried it in Auto and turned the flash off, manual mode with adjustments, kids & pets, all without flash on and all the pictures taken were blurry. Wondering if it is possible to take pictures of the rabbit without the flash on? The picture was very nice and crisp with the flash on but my wife is afraid that it would hurt her little "Ginger's" eyes. I could do that with the old Canon S30 (with the Sports function mode) but I can't do that with the new SD1000. Wondering if it's just a setting that I've yet to discover or something like that.
