WOW, what a difference going from a 30D! Been waiting and waiting for 5D Mk II but decided to spend a little more and got myself a gently used one. Here's the duck (sorry no real duck yet - been sick last two days!)

I'm just blown away how shallow the DoF is even on same aperture....

One below is the 100% crop - I didn't even realized this was taken at ISO 800 until now!! May be I'll post another shot taken on a tripod - this one was hand-held and my have shaken a little.

Sweet dude. I've only had mine for a little over a month and it's been awesome. Luckily I've used the 1 series before so I knew my way around it already. Show us some shots with it when you get some.

Yes, well, why don't you just go ahead and post some pics, include crops that show the fine detail from a big pic, get us all drooling and sighing...

Look at http://www.keh.com (external link) -- They have a few available.

It is a perfectly good alternative to the 5D at this time, IMO.

Pretty pricey.. I was hoping for a $3500-$3900 range

I picked up my low mileage copy last week for within that price range. To the original poster, congratulations!

I have to ask.
What are you using it for?

It better pay you back for the price it costs.
