I love my 200 2.8 L!!

I agree that it doesn't get much thread time. Not sure why.

I've sold a few lenses, but have no regrets. I don't think my 200L will be going anywhere. Of course, if the price on the new 200mm f/2.0L IS gets down to a reasonable level, who knows. :)

Canon 7D, 5D, 35L, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8, 135L, 200L, 10-22, 17-55, 70-300, 100-400L, 500D, 580EX(2).
Sigma 150 macro, 1.4X, 2X, Quantaray 2X, Kenko closeup tubes, Yongnuo YN685(3), Yongnuo YN-622C-TX. Lots of studio stuff.

i had a 35/2 which i sold in favour of a 35L. however, on several occasions, it has occured to me that having a small prime like the 35/2 would be much more convenient.

I do miss my 7-2 2.8 IS. My current f/4 IS version is probably the sharpest I've had yet (if that's even possible), which will be for sale before rebates come around and I'll be getting that 2.8 back.

What I regretted the most was the 35L. As you can see in my sig, I got it back ;) I kinda regret getting rid of the 17-50 as well...strange as that may sound.

After I swap my 7-2's around AGAIN, that's it. NO MORE SELLING! Adding is ticket ;)

I sold my 17-85 to a member here. It served me very well, but the 17-40 that replaced it is even better

I don't think I could sell any of my gear now, I get attached :o I even keep my kit lens as a paperweight, better than selling it as it was my first ever lens.
