I went to a photo store today and used my 1GB compact flash in a 20d and took some sample pics. It seemed like it was taking pictures but there were none when I got home. Any suggestions?

When I got my CF for my Drebel I just put it in and it went fine but the 20D may be different. 5D, Drebel, EOS-3, K1000

They would end in .cr2 (assuming you can see file extensions) I use Raw mode exclusively and did set the camera to Raw mode. I'm surprised the camera let me take any pictures if the card wasn't in correctly (sure felt like it was). I wonder if formatting for the d20 is different for the g2? Doug Sturgess

Oct 30, 2004 22:23 | #6 I did the same thing with a CF card and had no problem. The card was previously formated in a Powershot P&S camera. I shot the 20D in JPG mode though.
