Spring 2008 Southern Alberta POTN MEET

Since last year was a successful event with a bunch of wonderful POTN members from throughout Alberta, it would seem a good idea to do it again in 2008.

Let's start out by getting an idea on dates. I know there is no way to make it work for everyone, but we will give our best effort. I have a few things coming up in June that I would have to work around.

Ideas for where to go would be good. I liked the idea of the 2 day event and think this is what we should plan for again.

The BBQ last year was fun too, and I would be more than glad to hast another one this year.

This is open for whoever would like to come along to share in some fun and adventure. Oh ya, and maybe discuss photography if we have time.

That fits my bill well too. The only thing I know conflicting is my BIL and family coming for a while in June. They are going to set their dates soon, so I will know what won't work for me then.

Hi Elfie, the last two weekends in May are booked for me. A canoe trip on the long weekend, and an annual party the one after that. May 31/June 01 would work for me.

Last year was really great. I can't say when I'll be free just yet... but I'll keep up to date with this thread. Right now I figure any weekend in June/July would work fine for me.

Steff, how's life been. Glad to hear you will be free, 'twill be fun again, I'm sure.

Hey David, I think we should set a date within a week or two, hopefully one that will work for all.

Set the date soon and I will try very hard to fit it into my calendar, my last trip to Canada was a business trio to Toronto in Feb 2002, so this will be a great excuse to haul my A over the pond.

The get together last year was a blast (minus the sunburnt neck!...hehe). I love to get in on it again this year if I can. For me I think June, July or August would work, but I might be heading to Manitoba in early August for about four days or so.

Hey Neil, we'd be glad to have you join us! Alberta offers some great sights. Last year we did a day trip out to Kananaskis in the rocky mountains for the second half of the get together. We all got some amazing shots from that trip.

We will do Neil, it would be great if you could make over for this meet, and add that international flare to our group. How long has it been since you were in Alberta?
