Nice series. I remember when I became a father, it is a very emotional experience.
Looks like they got the roles reversed in the first pic! Haha!

Great shots. Can't wait until my son is born. Hope the hospital is ready for it to look like a lightning inside the delivery room.

Thank you all very much. Those are the best compliments I could get. My goal was to try to capture the emotion of the moment. Sounds like I got close.

Very nice! I got tears in my eyes and I'm not even a mom. Wonderful job at capturing the moment!

#3 reminds me of when my little girl was born. I'm not a crying kinda guy, but when I held her the first time I was bawling.

Your son and grandson will be glad to have these.

I know exactly what you mean. I had three boys and then a girl. I had the same emotions as my son above when the boys were born, but when I was told it was a girl, I could not stop the tears. For some reason it never entered my mind that it might be a girl. For a week I could not say the word "daughter" without choking up.

(And now she's a better photographer than me, and a member of this forum - Lil Light)

Congratulations! I feel sorry for the kid....those cheeks say PINCH ME all over them. I remember growing up, all my aunts couldn't keep their hands off my chubby little cheeks! :-) #3 and #4 are my favorite....probably cause I can relate to the feeling as a father myself. :-)
