I was working tonight out in my garage on some side jobs I have going, and got an itch to try and take a few pics to see how my XTi would do under the fluorecent light I have out there. I snapped a few pics of Ethyl, my 37 Ford Tudor project and the mached up Flatty I'm building for her. I took these in Monochrome style in AV mode with the green filter enabled. I used the flash on a couple of the shots, but I used a bounce card to direct it off the ceiling. Not sure if I like them or not. C&C needed to help me improve.

I like 1 and 3, 2 seems too bright over the "corner" of the bodywork.
Cool pics and a cool project

Those work fairly well now. They won't look as good if you paint it glossy.

As a side note: Two one-barrels? Geeeeez! All that work for two one-barrels? :D

I got a little trick up my sleeve with the 2 singles. It's called Alcohol. ( E85 or E100 to be exact. ) I have huge adjustable jets and metering valves for the two 95s. I am having a friend of mine in Texas work on smoothing and boring the throttle plates and making new buttetfly plates for them as well. I'd like to machine the two throttle bore openings in the throttle plate out to one big oval but I don't know if I will. ( lotta work ) They should move enough fuel for that little 300 cuin motor. If they don't then I'll buy a pair of Retrotech throttle bodies for it! No biggy! Besides it's a Flathead! It probably wont make more than 250 hp anyway! Flatheads just look and sound fast!

Alcohol

Not nitromethane? ;)
Well, that should be interesting! Keep the build shots coming.
