I bought a bag of chocolate coated peanuts (Saturday just gone,) as a treat whilst watching tele.
To my horror I found not one, but two chocolate coated raisins in with my nuts.
This is not the first time this has happened and I am sure it won't be the last.
I have sent a scathing e-mail to Tesco who, for protection reasons, shall remain nameless.

Grrrrr! Grrrrr! and thrice Grrrrr!

Are you sure they were really raisins? Could have been squirrels in the factory.

Come to think of it, are you sure it was all chocolate?

it;'s a good job you did not mention Tesco by name - I believe they are very litigious.

Well, they go on about people with nut allergies but they don't seem concerned with the countless sufferers of RAS (raisin aversion syndrome)

Hey, I'm eating my raisins, chow mein fried noodles and peanuts as we speak! Don't knock the raisin. They keep me from getting fat! ;) But I do like the nuts.

Raisins are the scourge of the food world.
I remember my first fruit and nut bar, it took ages to suck the chocolate of the raisins.

Raisins are great...but chocolate on raisins? That sounds wrong.

I like raisins, and I like chocolate, but I don't like them together. Unexpectedly biting into chocolate-covered raisins while eating chocolate-covered peanuts would be a traumatic experience to say the least!

Seriously. A criminal waste of chocolate as far as I'm concerned. The combo actually seems to lower the quality of both items.

Chocolate raisins are a taste sensation! I was addicted to them at one time - I have now got control of my addiction and have lowered it to just raisins...

(So many responses, so little time. Pick whichever one you like.)

1 - I find that sitting up while I eat keeps food from falling into my lap.

2 - You may want to see a doctor about that.

3 - Reminds me of the food scene from "9-1/2 Weeks".

4 - Try eating while you're dressed.

5 - Those aren't raisins.
