I received a grip for my 20D today and went to install. However, while trying to follow the instructions I cannot get the batter compartment cover removed.

What I have done...while hold the camera upside down with the lens pointing towards me I (1) open the cover (2) slide the cover away from me (3) tilt the front of the cover up. I feel like if I push too hard that it will break.

Any suggestions?

On the hinge, there is a spring loaded nub. Push that down, and lift the cover off.

Awesome. Thanks, that did it. I wonder why that wasn't in the instructions?! :D
