I'm looking for something wider than my 28-75. I don't want to pay the Canon L price, because this is not a lens that I will use that often. Any opinions on the Tamrons or other?
thanks,
daniel

Oct 31, 2004 14:46 | #4 Well, I was thinking around 17mm and under $500 if possible. I typically don't shoot with anything wider than 28 and have never had a real interest in it so I'm not real familiar with whats available. I won't use it real often, but I will use it for paid portraits now and then, so it has to be descent. -daniel
