Shot last night while on a walk with one of my buddies.
This school is Balmoral Elementary, est 1913. Super creepy at night.

Super happy with this because I had no tripod, and I think it turned out great for being hand held at 1/3 sec.

Yeah, that did turn out handheld -- nice.

If I apply a local contrast USM, it really pops.

You must have one steady hand for that shot...nice indeed

Thats really good for .3 sec, and it's one of the few shots of buildings that look better without using lens correction, really imposing
I remember hearing a guy on photoshoptv saying he could hand hold a camera at 1/10 from a helicopter! I can only imagine he knew how to alter time somehow.

yeah, I felt that getting a nice angle to further distort the image would work well for what I was going after, so thanks.

1/10 in a heli? that's just crazy talk!...I must learn how! haha.

That's creepy! Both way -- A) The picture is spooky. B) You held the handheld camera very still for 1/3 seconds. Excellent.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Yeah - cool shot. but I would crop the bottom and start the frame right at the steps.
