A first for me ...... originally i thought it was a Snipe then on checking it looks like its a Curlew, not too common in my parts.

Yep Curlew. You'd be surprised at how widespread they are. Trouble is there camo gears better than ours.. :)

Nice shot of a bird I have nothing on...the low angle and BG add a lot to this image. Nice!
