or something very similar?

I've must've researched over 500+ pages on sites such as this, deviantart, etc.

I just happen to like it.

If this is in the wrong section, mods, feel free to move.

It IS a pretty one...probably due more to the sky / sunrays than anything.

I gotta say I see dozens just like it here in Kent on my drive to work each morning, just not with the sunburst like that though.

Yep, I agree, living in Kent you get to see lone trees like this all the time, in fact I can think of four within a few miles of my house on walks that I like. I think its the sky that is grabbing your attention. Nice image I agree :D

See I was wondering the same thing when I see those kind of trees but never seem to find one that happens to look great and be alone. So now I know it's because I'm in the wrong country lol.

Its def. the rays that grabs my attention.

It also looks like an early developing storm w/ really dark clouds also w/ a very small opening for the effect. at a perfect spot. I've seen bursts like these but at very random places. I've even thought about taking a pic, but failed, chicago doesn't really pose lone trees like these:mad:

well, if anyone comes across this or something like it let me know.

thanx in advanced

here's the few I found, but nothing like it

I don't know if it's where you got the picture from in the first place, but I recognized that from InterfaceLift.com

http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=1401 (external link)

says it was taken near Rochester, New York.

I've got it from a computer forum that used it for his screenshot wall paper, I love nature photography and I found this to be breath taking, so I just had to look for it.

all these photos was from deviantart.

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A LOT!!!!!!!!!

I just came back from playing with my 16-35mm L and 40D, still experimenting with raw format, its just a matter of time where I start posting good pics. here's one of my lil one for now tho
