Lame and totally undeserving of a 1.x release.

What? They re-enabled a slider and you don't think that is worthy??

(I think the mac people are happy with some printing issues resolved.)

The faster you get off 1.x nomenclature the better. Software edition numbering is a game that is played because of you, the consumer.

Chill, enjoy a freshly enabled slider and wait until 2.0 is released or until you buy a new camera. ;)

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
Full frame and some primes.

Not really: I'll have to pay for the update! So for me, the longer they stay in 1.x, the better :)

Since the only way LR can support new cameras is with a new release, what numbering would you suggest? Conversely, what exactly constitutes "deserving of a 1.x release"?

It seems their are alot of people including myself using windows that have found a bug after updating to 1.4. If you convert to dng after import you get an unspecified error message when you convert or enter the develop module. You can't open save etc. Many posts on the lightroom forum. For know I guess I will stick with .cr2 files until this is solved, pretty annoying as I spent a few hours reinstalling, trying to figure out what I believed I had done wrong...

Giovanni, it's not a complete ACR rework, so no major changes to reds/oranges at this stage. This release makes adjustments to the extreme ends of the scales. *This does not mean they are ignoring everyone's comments about reds/oranges, just that changes on that are not in this release.*

How about telling them to quit enabling that darn Adobe Downloader with each LR update. _ ;)

I dont give a hoot about its ties to ACR, if there are no new features it shouldnt ever be an x.x release. It's a minor rev at BEST.

With a major bug too. Hey Adobe! We are not your beta testers!
