High Jump & Pole Vault

I was out shooting a High School Track and Field meet here in Santa Barbara yesterday. 40mph wind gusts made shooting a bit tricky. I tried high jump and pole vault in addition to the running events. I was surprised to see that there are many different ways to jump or vault, and it made being in the right place really difficult. Below are 2. C&C welcome...

Very nice. I used to Pole Vault a Looooong time ago. The first picture is very nice with nice seperation.

Great shots. I use to pole vault, high jump, and long jump. To tell you how long ago that was, the first photo style was known as the Foseberry flop..:lol:

on the seckend one you can see haw high it is but the picture is coud be better
