I finally have some time to do a few things I like, so whilst sitting on my duff waiting for the plumber I saw this guy and a few friends sniffing around the bin.
It's about a 80% crop, natural light, 100mm f2.8 macro,

Thanks Brian.. I was lucky that this guy was a bit of a showoff, most of his pals were not so obliging.
This plumber isn't too bad, he came on a Saturday for the same price as a weekday because he thought it was too hot yesterday ( 40+ degrees is hot ! ).. we'll keep him here thanks :)

next time dont shoot it at f/2.8.thats way to low hense why not all the pic is in focus..and your shutter speed is way to high..in natural light u be better off bumping iso to 400..then u can set fstop to f/8-16 and shutter speed 125-200..u can always run noise where professional to get the noise out.but theres nothing u can do after woods to get it in focus..for a subject as big as a fly your want to use something like f/11..Keep practicing with different settings.look at brian's exif data on his flick account..and read others that are good at shooting..this how i learnt..i looked for all the best pics and red there exif data..Your find all the best macro photographers use the same settings..

No extension tube, no flash nothing but the lens. I sized it up to about 80%, cropped it and posted it.. oh... and sharpened it.
