Never knew it existed, but, glad I found it. I thought it was fun, and my wife did too. Riding between stations, and getting different shots, then dinner at the landing, and back home we went.

Enjoy, and hope you like it. 5D + 17-40L, exif intact.

explain? They are usually only two cars in length...though, I'm not sure if they'd ever hook up more than 2. Maybe if Jacksonville got real busy some day?

Thanks...that's the look I was going for, 'pretty.' Wanted to see if someone like Suntrust or Wachovia would buy a few...we'll see.

As for the subject, yeah, Jax MR isn't all that popular, yet. Any other way to improve it, Photosguy? Hey...where's my welcome to Transportation?

If you want me to pick nits, the buildings are pretty straight, but not perfect. ;)

Here you go!

^^ Hey, thanks! As for the buildings, I'll check with a finer grid pitch, when I crop the image. Seemed to be pretty straight, when I did (maybe 0.xx degrees off), but that's easily fixed. Appreciate the comments.

haha! then the thing would be at two stations at once, it wouldn't move. You get in one engine, walk through the train and step out at your destination from the other engine. The sad but true fact is Detroit Airport actually has bigger trams for trucking people the 1.5 miles of the airport than Jacksonville does for its entire city, not to mention it gets more riders!

BTW, very nice picture. Its hard to get a good picture of the skyline here. Best spot I found is if you walk over the Acosta Bridge you get a pretty nice shot of both Downtown and Riverside

Thanks goincarcrazy. Having been here a year now, I'm getting pretty used to where I am, and where I am going. Don't spend much time in Jax, except when I'm at work. I live in St. Johns County, so, I'm usually up near the 'city' very rarely. I do have another animated gif of this thing. Here it is.
