Hi all -
I've had my G3 for what seems like years (almost 2 i guess) and I am only now learning how to utilize the advanced features. I've read about turning off the on-board flash when taking pictures indoors and adjusting the shutter speed and aperture to take advantage of the ambient lighting, but when I do I am often ending up with blurry images.
I am assuming this is due to the fact that i'm using slower shutter speeds and not using a tripod, but even when i use a tripod, the slightest moves by my subjects result in a blurry picture. Even then, I cannot increase the shutter speed because I cannot get enough light in. (did i just confuse the heck out of you because i think i confused myself)
Will getting a mounted flash fix my problem? and will it allow me to take pics without a tripod?
If it is the best thing to do, can I survive with a 220ex or should I go with a 420ex?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
