I have got elements 5 installed and have been using Scott Kelbys book with it.
I have been given elements 6 now and was wondering if i would be better getting a book for this also or is there much difference between 5 and 6 to warrant spending my hard earned money on another book.

Thanks in advance

Much of it will be the same. Details of new or improved features obviously won't be covered.

You may consider checking your local library for a version 6 book... they often have sections devoted to the new features. That way you can at least brush up on what features are new, and consider if you need a new reference on your bookshelf to cover them.
