One from today ... still not as sharp as I'd like (or have seen from others). Maybe I should stop drinking coffee?

nwyman Cream of the Crop More info | very nice feather detail. I think it needs a wee bit more contrast, or maybe would benefit from Mitch's tutorial on channel sharpening. EOS 6D, SX50HS, Tamron 150-600

It's either the lens, or me, and I'm betting on me. It's difficult to get good shutter speed in this grey winter light! EdV wrote in post #5125517 OK, were you standing on your head Carl? It was one of the sharper ones I got while standing on my head. Thanks DGD, maybe I'll just move to decaf! nwyman wrote in post #5125933 very nice feather detail. I have noticed of late that the red breasted nuthatches seem to be paler than they were last Fall. Maybe getting ready for new feathers? Thanks Nancy. I thought he looked a little paler too, maybe he's a she? I also noticed some other recent posts that looked pale. -Carl
