They are very nice! The reflector and light looks like what I was missing from mine. Ive done a few different easter shoots for friends and family and have had to spend WAY too much time editing and had to do some rediculous things with the pictures to make them work. I was hoping someone would post an easter shoot... thank you for sharing. I'm too ashamed of the ones I took to post them on here

Thanks! I'd post yours anyway. As long as you don't make it sound like they are perfect and you are wonderful, people tend to give you great critique that really can help improve next time. Give it a whirl. Be brave. Making mistakes and learning from them is what makes this photography thing FUN!

very nice job on the shots and the collage was nice thought i might have added a drop shadow or border to the pictures. But that is just me..

Thanks! I tried several different borders and drop shadows but I wasn't happy with anything I tried so I decided to skip them.

A 1px dark pink border around each picture might actually look nice.

Would have loved to see bare feet instead. I hate shoe bottoms(least they were clean). Just my nit pick.

Thanks "Ed." I'm actually NOT printing the card at all. She just wanted a little collage to email.

Thanks for pointing that out. But, bare feet would have required removing tights as well and it's not THAT warm yet. :) And, I'm sure her mom wanted her shoes to be seen as well. I know when I take pics of my son, I like to see his cute shoes before he outgrows them. I agree that the bottoms aren't the most attractive part but sometimes it's unavoidable.

Well, mom also asked for a little collage that she can email out to family, friends, co-workers, etc and this is where I ended up.

E-mail, no way! She needs a 20 x 40 to hang on the wall!

(You can tell her I said so)

Funny you said that, she just emailed me and asked about ordering it! :) She hadn't seen it before.

#2 = teh win.

The only thing I might change would be the wrinkles in the backdrop. If you have it rolled out over carpet I've found some cardboard underneath can help to keep the fabric from gathering so much. Sometimes that is.

Great shots!!

Thank you! I did know about the wrinkle thing and had even told hubby to pick me up some plywood to put underneath. Sadly, he failed to comply. I apologized to her mom for it (and the shadow in my test shot) and she said not to worry because she didn't even notice it. I just hate not having things perfect. And, I'm sick of steaming muslin so I'm going to be springing for paper in the future.

Here's a couple of more if anyone was interested.

Her mom saw a crop of this one on the collage and wanted to see it in a vertical.

And, she wanted to see the selective color on this one. So, what the client wants the client gets. She loves it so that's all that matters. :)
