when shooting indoors with my g3 what white balance setting should I use if I am using a 420 flash? flash or automatic or flouresent white balance setting since the place has flouresent lights that I will be shooting in.

You should use "daylight" (or sunny) WB, because that's the color of the light coming out of your flash. Most cameras will automatically change the WB for you when you turn on the flash (not sure about external flashes, though). Scott
