out of place

My teacher wants me to shoot a photo that is under the theme of "out of place."

I have shot these 2 tulips. What do you guys think? Which one should I hand in??

I like #1 - but I would like to see more depth of field.

At first I was going to say the first, but the more I look at the two, especially considering the theme of "out of place", I think the second. I feel like the larger "field" of snow in the background gives it a more isolated feeling.

#1 leaves you guessing if the tulip is actually growing there in the snow or if its just in a vase or something.

#2 - I agree with KMorgan's description of the experience I had in deciding. Especially because the snow is so well exposed.

Is this for a photography class? Your teacher might point out that the snow is blown out more in #2 than #1.
