What do you think?

I did a test print on my R1800, with which I have a LOVE/HATE/LOVE relation...they came out very nice. I don't know if I want ot make 60+ on it though. What Lab would you recommend...MPIX, Lustre Color, Bay Photo, Costco?

Very sweet. I don't know about the other labs but I'm sure Mpix would do a super job.

I love it! Congatulations

I just wanted to share with you a story about mpix. My sister got married last year. She had disposable cameras at all the tables for the guest to use and had 1 just for her 4 year old daughter to use. For Christmas I wanted to do something special. I had the camera her daughter used developed at the local drug store - running VERY close on time though I just had prints made (1 hour prints) and scanned them myself.

Now just imagine how these pictures came out - nothing good going for them -
1. disposable camera
2. taken by a 4 year old
3. location was a dark reception hall.

I uploaded them to mpix and made a book. used the theme "Through my daughters eyes" love that song by martina mcbride -
Anyways! The book turned out WAY better than I could have ever hoped for! I couldn't believe how much better and clearer the pics in the book were than the prints from the drug store and I didn't do anything to them to fix them!

So what am I saying after all this rambling?! haha I'm saying go with MPIX!

Kim ;)

I use Bay. Their press printed cards are nice as are their regular prints.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna get a sample from MPIX, Costco and Bay and see which is the best option. I've heard good things about MPIX from people here and Scott Kelby's website.

I got an application from WHCC...that seems like it could take a while though.

What do you think about getting these prints in Metallic paper?

They could be very nice. I had my xmas cards done in metallic paper. But, if you want 5x7 you can't use Mpix. They only print 4x8. I used WHCC for mine and they were super sharp. I got a lot of compliments on them.
