Any C&C on this shot. I am not sure with it. The yellow leads my eye to the middle with the splash of color but I think it might not be colorful enough. What do you guys think! Or should I just scrap the shot.

Thanks a bunch :D

Todd

I love the colors. The fact that the ends don't all line up bothers me though. They should come together in a nice circle.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the second picture was symmetry. I kind of agree that the pencil tips should come together in a circle. Or you set it up so that one pencil tip is off on purpose and the rest be in a circle.

Besides that, I think they're good shots. Nice colors and DOF.

Like the 2nd shot the best, though this one would have been better in a square format with the outside colors of each pencil visible.

I like the image. Even though they are not all spectral colors, I would think that it would look good to try to arrange them in something approaching a color wheel sequence.

Nice idea but I'd lose the white one. My eye goes straight to it (and wants to stay there) in both.

Ditto for me....and I also agree with BIll.the color wheel sequence would be more pleasing to follow.Very crisp focused shot though!
