If you don't have long lens, let the action come closer to you. I know don't know why exif says "Exposure Program: Action (biased towards shutter speed)". Seems like one of those pre-programemd modes. First don't use them, get to at least Av mode and set the aperture to the widest setting that your lens allows. Adjust ISO to make sure shutter speed is high enough for your focal length. And expose for the faces.

get lower .... sit on the ground if need be..... and rotate your camera to vertical .... i promise your shots will look better......

try AV mode and shoot as wide as you can and keep your SS above 1/800th or so and you should be golden !
