am I right to say that the only difference between P5000 and P3000 are

- the size of the hardrive
(P5000 = 80GB / P3000 = 40GB)

- the color of the top and bottom part
(P5000 = black / P3000 = silver)

and nothing else?

i have done my research on the web for a couple days now and im leaning towards the
Epson P3000 and do the 120GB hdd upgrade as posted here by our very own, Mr.
Ceasar!!!

Yes that's true. Do yourself a favor (if you're techie inclined) buy the 3000 and do the 120 upgrade that is posted here in the forum.

Although the black is definitely eye pleasing!

I have 40D, P-3000, and it works. I do have a question for others---I cannot zoom the RAW images in past 100%. The JPEGS go to 400%. Why?

i'm not sure i qualify for the rebate again but if i do we could work out something.

How about a relatively cheap $450-500 14in/160GB/2GB RAM/DVD-RW/DL/5.4lb laptop.

I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?
