Got my first REAL order

Besides the wedding I've been complaining about .....I have done several portraits and just been waiting for the orders to come in for prints and my first one just did.... I just had a mom order $110 worth of prints of her children's portraits....

I know, its not that much....but it does tell me that she liked my photographs...which is encouraging sometimes!

I just started filling "real" orders too. And let me tell you, noone in the history of money has ever been so happy about $60.

lol....Yes, it is nice to know that you aren't the only one who likes your photographs isn't it? Its really nice to make people happy too. I love that I can provide a family with an alternative style of portraits and have them be completely excited about it and not having to go to Sears for the traditional (boring) shots!

It's also nice to have a little $$ coming back to help satiate the addiction!

I did a free 50th anniversary, multiple family group, Sr. picture, just-got-married-a-couple-of-weeks-ago-and-was-too-stupid-to-have-pictures-taken, so I could try out my new 10D. Received a $400 tip and have been selling extra prints to some of the people involved over the last couple of months. Some of them are now ordering pictures for Christmas.

I can see some definite possibilities here.
