I went on Sunday this year, and only for about half the show, and then spent more time playing with my kids. Fun show though, really enjoyed it. Wish they had advertized a bit more though, as it seemed to arrive out of nowhere this year.

And next year I'd love to meet up with any of the POTN folks who are there. Have to exchange cell phone numbers before hand or something.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the Collaborators, they did a great job on Sunday with wind. Nice pics

I too went on Sunday. I wanted to see the parachuter's, but it was too windy that day.

Agreed, Made me wonder if the weather kept some of the events away. I wonder why they moved it back to March?

The food did seem better though. More choices so less lines, and some of the stuff was even well priced.

Little summary about the air show in todays Sac Bee. The photo that went with it however wasn't quite up to POTN standards. I tried to check the EXIF data but couldn't seem to get it to work. Guess you can't right click and image in a newspaper.

Anyway, there were over 75,000 folks there. More than last year, less than 2006.

The show costs over $750,000 to put on. Profits are used for scholarships, and to fund the set up time of the next years show.

The changing date is due to availability of the big acts. Some acts (like the F22) have limited availability so if you get them one year you are less likely to get them the next.
