Quick! Can someone recommend a P&S with FAST recycle time??

I don't have time to search, it's for a friend who is at Best Buy!

ETA: I mean the ability to take fast consecutive shots, with or without the flash!

Panasonic has a couple that'll shot 2.5 and 3fps. But 3 is pushing it for a P&S.

Uhhh I guess the G-series (if you count that) and the SD-series are okay considering their size and limited-ness. Essentially avoid the cameras that run off of AA batteries because the flash recycling is pitiful - or in my experiences at least.

What are you wanting to shoot?

Without flash, I find the S5's 1.5 fps adequate for most situations such as sports, and if I want to capture motion such as every flap of a birds wing on takeoff I use movie mode at 640x480 at 30 fps or even 320x240 at 60 fps.

If you want any of that with flash as well, though, you're out of luck.
