The night mode enabled both to be exposed, surrounded by dark sky. I've also got a few night shots with the self-timer so that my wife and I were exposed by the flash, with an interesting night scene behind us. The camera was supported to keep the long background exposure sharp.

Nov 09, 2004 15:25 | #4 Yeah, I've used it on a few occassional when the background was interesting and I had people in the foreground. Times Square at dark comes to mind.
