My 300D started having AF problems the other day. It's been fine up until then, nice sharp photos, but I took a bunch of shots and when I opened them for conversion/processing, all of them were out of focus. Not just slightly either but extremely noticeable. I checked out 2 other lens to see if the lens decided to crap out but all were the same. Any ideas about what I might try or should I just send it to Canon.
BTW, when I send it in, does anyone have any recommendation as to which one to send it to?

TIA,
Jeff

Have you cleaned the contacts with a pencil eraser? The contacts on the camera body may need cleaning, which would explain why all your lenses weren't functioning properly.

Just a thought.

That's one thing I didn't try, I'll give it a test tonight. I did charge up the battery and clean the grip contacts but forgot about the lens contacts. BTW, the camera does indicate a focus confirmation, does this come from the lens or is it "in-camera"

TIA
Jeff
