Black spots in Rebel Xti viewfinder

Hello whenever I look through the viewfinder in my rebel xti I see black spots that do not appear on the images. How can I fix this?

If its not bad don't fret over it. Otherwise use a blower bulb to try and dislodge the specks off the focusing screen. Do not touch the screen.

Use a Rocket Blower inside the camera. Generally speaking, the dust will come right off.

umm surely your not talking about the focus points right? (the ones that light up red)

the 9 of them arranged in a diamond fashion?

but yeah, check the mirror, use a rocket blower (NO CANNED AIR!!!)
