I'm not an expert at SEO, but I know Google likes text, so yes.

Hey Joe!

I see you coming up as 3rd on the list, under timdavisphotography.co​m and sublettstudios.com. Way to go!

One way to "google" yourself is to use the incognito window (if you're using chrome).

I used the incongnito trick before, but I was never sure since it sounded too good to be true to be 3rd!

Good high quality backlinks and following everything here & Yoast SEO plugin did the trick. You do have to keep up on it though, I find I drop in ratings when my links from guest blog posts are getting old, so I write a new one every once in a while.

Your 'wedding' page comes up on the third listing on the first page.

To add: I used "DuckDuckGo.com" (an anonymous search engine) and your 'wedding" page came up #3 on the first page too.

If you have google chrome, you can browse in the incognito mode. It basically hides your IP address and everything as if you're on a completely different computer. The reason to use this is b/c when you google your own keywords in your own browser, you'll end up ranking higher than you actually are ranked.

Only signing up to Google analytics does not helps you to put your site in good position, you need to do some other stuff also. Like creating good content and doing social media marketing.

I always recommend reading my 'SEO for the Photographer' link in my sig.

I see nothing about your location or what you do on the home page. Your <title> only says 'TheWiz Wedding', which is great if people know you, but a potential client isn't going to search Google for 'TheWiz Wedding'.

Looks good, SEO-wise. I even ran the vSlow plugin from Chrome, and you got an 'A'. Even my site gave me a 'B'.

Good job! Did you do anything special to get the page-load down?
