And no need for sensor cleaning, as you get a brand new sensor for each frame. :D

Yeah, rewinding a roll halfway to change ISO is easier than pushing a button.

Drying negatives attract dust in my experience.

I still like to break out my old A1. The viewfinder is like looking at a drive in screen even compared to my 5D. :)

I wouldn't say it's a better camera than my 400D, but it's certainly a lot classier. It's got that rather nice red AF-assist projector and the flash button makes it pop up and down.

I started shooting digital so I don't think I would ever buy a film camera. I would most likely go NUTS waiting to see how the pics come out.

I still have my EOS A2E that I keep in good shape by taking the batteries out of it when stored. But if I'm feeling REALLY nostalgic, I break out the AE-1 Program.
I had a photo instructor who told me that camera was bulletproof (not that I want to try to deflect any bullets with it) ;)

Oddly I found I kept looking at the film door after each shot just out of habit --- like I was expecting an instant review!

I have the EOS 10s. Do you know what's the difference between 10 and 10s?

Nice camera! I have a Nikon SLR film and a Hasselblad + loads of dark room equipment. I would like to think I will use them again, but I haven't so far been tempted since going digital!

It's supposed to do (and sounds like it does) a respectable 5 fps. I've got a roll here of 36 ISO 200 with a develop-by date of June 2003. I'm just not sure if I've got the temerity to go out and spend it in a little over seven seconds.

According to http://photonotes.org/reviews/eos-10s/ (external link) , something to do with automatic flash deployment.
