First game of the season, brrrr, it was cold out there in northern Illinois. Shooting with a Canon 30D and 70-200 2.8L with 1.4 TC. ISO 250 f4.0 1/3200, daylight white balance with a +1/3 exposure compensation shooting through a chain link fence.

They accept photos each year, they use 12 for their calendar. All coaches get it. It is a big thing in D1 and all college softball as well as high school. You get no pay, but it's cool.
